Bash — tattoo artist at Hive Tattoo, London Ontario

Bash — the artist

The artist

Dark work,
done with
reverence.

Bash works out of Hive Tattoo in London, Ontario. Oni masks, sigilism, ornamental spines, dotwork — every design starts with a blank page and a conversation, not a flash book someone else already wears.

One client a day. A proper consultation before the needle ever runs. If you want something safe, there are other chairs — if you want a piece that still means something in thirty years, pull up.

Before you ask — the answers

Straight
answers.

The stuff everyone asks before they book — money, pain, healing, and how the custom process actually works.

Run the light over the skin — the aftercare answers

Sigil Dragon — healed client piece

the sun

Can I tan or use UV beds?

Not while it heals — UV is the fastest way to wreck fresh ink. Once healed, sunscreen every time it sees sun: SPF is what keeps blackwork black for decades.

the water

Can I shower with a fresh tattoo?

Yes — quick, lukewarm showers are fine from day one. What you can't do is soak it: no baths, pools, hot tubs or lakes for 3–4 weeks. Pat dry, never rub.

the routine

How do I wash and moisturize it?

Twice a day: clean hands, fragrance-free soap, pat dry, then the thinnest layer of unscented moisturizer that still shines. Caked-on cream suffocates it — less is more.

the gym

Can I train while it heals?

Give it 48 hours minimum, then listen to the piece: sweat, friction and stretching are the enemies. Skip anything that rubs gear or clothing over it for the first two weeks.

DM @attackonbash on Instagram with your idea, the placement, rough size, and any reference images. You'll get a reply with availability and a consultation — every design is drawn custom, so the conversation comes first.

It depends on size, placement and detail. Small fine-line pieces start around $150; half-day and full-day sessions are quoted flat after the consultation. You'll always know the number before anything is booked — no surprises in the chair.

Yes — a deposit locks your appointment and comes off the final price. It's arranged during the consultation, never over cold DMs. If someone claiming to be Bash asks for money before you've had a consultation, it's not Bash.

The ritual is simple.

01

The idea

DM the concept, the placement, and any references. Rough is fine — that's the job.

02

The design

A custom drawing built for your anatomy. Revised until it's yours and nobody else's.

03

The session

One client, full attention, clean protocol. Aftercare walked through before you leave.
